The Luxembourg Park (not too beautiful model) (2006)

Video and sound installation

The Luxembourg Park is based on the Albert Edelfelt (1854-1905) famous painting The Luxembourg Park, Paris (1887) and my stay in Paris. It’s also inspired by recent cultural research on Edelfelt and the problematics of the written history.

The installation pictures are from my solo exhibition at Gallery Huuto Viiskulma 7.6 – 18.6.2006.
